3 tips to take better photographs for social media

I've put together a few simple steps fro you to implement when you create your next bank of social media content. Remember to first of all, make a list, plan and prep your props!

1. Have you heard of the rule of thirds? The rule of thirds helps capture the subject of a photo in a way that's pleasing to look at. It involves breaking any image you want to photograph into thirds, horizontally and vertically, so that you have nine equal parts. By putting your subject on one of the places where those lines intersect, you create a more interesting photo. Avoid putting your subject smack down in the center.

2. Think about your background. Create negative blank space in your image to help create a clean feed. White backgrounds work best.

3. Use props! Whether it’s a quote, a pen, or a coffee cup - props get rid of the “what the hell do I do with my hands feeling 🤷🏼‍♀️
